Wood: Macro Carpa (Monterey Cypress)

Large decorative hollow form in which I’ve tried to capture the movement of water, through the grain patterns in the wood.
Wood Finish: Coloured blue, with water based dyes and finished with lacquer on exterior, oil on interior.
Origin of wood: Made from a tree that grew in Port Navas and was felled 8 years ago for safety reasons.
